NOTE:  John was not on the 1870 Perry Co., IL census.  Later censuses place his birthdate as Mar 1871 which is likely more correct because Joseph was listed as 7 months old on the 1870 census.  John's obituary and death certificate show him as born 29 Mar 1870.  The 1900 census shows Nannie born Mar 1875.  She was 24 years old when she married John, which would make her born c1875.  Her birth date was obtained from her death certificate, which listed her maiden name as LAIN.
