The word is derived from two German words, "ahnen" (ancestor) and "tafel" (table). The numbering system is the key to determining relationships. I, Nova Lemons, am listed as #1 followed by my father as #2 and my mother as #2. After #1, all males on the chart have an even number and the females an odd number. The wife is always one number higher than the husband. A father is double the number of his son or daughter; a mother is double the number of her son or daughter, plus one. - - - - - - - - - - - Books for Sale (new and used books) Estep Family Journal (1991 - 1998) [Eastep / Estep(p) surname] Flipping Flippins (1987 - ) [Flippen / Flippin / Flipping surname] (Bosque, Collin, Cooke, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Fannin, Grayson, Henderson, Hill, Hood, Hunt, Johnson, Kaufman, Navarro, Parker, Rains, Rockwall, Somervell, Tarrant, Van Zandt and Wise Counties) Come visit our wooferful page!
