*Elizabeth Whitaker wrote her will on 19 Jun 1818 and it was probated 1819 in Putnam Co. (now Jones Co.), GA [Will Book A, p. 106]. She was listed as a widow from Washington Co., GA. We have no proof on her maiden name and parents' names other than a letter from Mrs. Anne Hall Whitaker Winston, mentioned in the book, who gave Samuel's wife as Elizabeth Williams, daughter of Richard and Elizabeth (Carr) Williams.
